If you like strawberry daiquiri, these little treats are sublime. If you don't, then make or buy
another indulgent sorbet or ice cream. The mini cones (Pidy from Amazon) make this a real wow and if you buy the sorbet, there’s almost nothing to do.
The cones can be supported in a pretty cup or in shot glasses. I used a test tube holder, which
works quite well. (From Amazon again).

Ingredients for strawberry daiquiri - makes 1 litre (enough to fill loads of cones or dessert
400 gm strawberries
120 gm caster sugar
4 tbsp Bacardi or white rum
Ice cream maker
Paper mini muffin cases
Hull and chop the strawberries.
Put all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
Sieve the strawberry mixture.
Freeze in an ice cream maker, following the manufacturers instructions.
Store in the freezer until firm or until the day the sorbet is required.
Line up some paper mini muffin cases in a container suitable for the freezer.
Using a melon baller, make balls of sorbet and put each one in a separate muffin case.
Store in the freezer until required.
